Dear students, faculty, and staff,
The University of Florida’s personal safety application, GatorSafe, is not working properly due to a significant outage by the third-party vendor that provides the service.
This service disruption affects features within the GatorSafe app, such as the Mobile Blue Light, “Chat with UFPD,” and several other features.
During this time, members of the UF community in need of assistance are encouraged to use the emergency blue light phones on campus or call 352-392-1111 to contact the UFPD Dispatch Center. In the event of an emergency, please dial 911.
The UF Department of Emergency Management will continue to monitor the outage and notify the campus once service is restored to the GatorSafe app.
