In anticipation of possible impacts on the University of Florida campus from Hurricane Matthew, we are closing campus on Saturday, October 8, and Sunday, October 9.

Essential university personnel should check with their supervisors as to whether they should report for work.

The dining halls and residence halls will remain open. Check their hours at http://www.gatordining.com.

The Reitz Union will open only as an emergency shelter on Friday and will not open for the weekend.

RTS has canceled bus service system-wide —not just on campus — on Friday.

We are expected to resume normal operations on Monday, October 10. Libraries are scheduled to open at 8 a.m. Other scheduling updates and storm information will be posted regularly on UF’s home page, http://www.ufl.edu/.
